ICAN & Creighton Business Institute Partnership
ICAN MEN’S MEGA MIND MEET UP IS OCTOBER 23
Event Features 7 Speakers x 7 Topics x 7 Minutes Each
The Institute for Career Advancement Needs (ICAN) in partnership with the Creighton Business Institute is hosting the third annual Men’s Leadership Exchange Forum: Men’s Mega Mind Meet Up. This annual event is the culmination of a series of bi-monthly “Men's Meet Up” conversations held by ICAN’s Men's Leadership Exchange throughout the year on contemporary and newsworthy business leadership topics.
The ‘Men’s Mega Mind Meet Up’ brings together Omaha’s male business leaders for an event featuring seven local leaders with unique and exciting passions and ideas.
Those attending will learn something new and connect over drinks and discussion on contemporary leadership topics. Hosted by ICAN’s partner, Creighton University Heider College of Business, Creighton Business Institute, the Mega Mind Meet Up will be held at Creighton University’s Harper Center Ballroom and Billy Blue’s Alumni Grill (602 North 20th Street) on Thursday, Oct. 23, from 4 – 7 p.m. Cost is $27 for an individual or $300 for a corporate block of 10 attendees with recognition. The ‘Men’s Mega Mind Meet Up’ takes it origins from public intellectual dialogue forums – where people gather for high-level conversations on topics varying from science, philosophy, humanities, health, business, politics, and in this case, centered around business and community leadership in Omaha. “We in the Creighton University Heider College of Business are excited to be partnering with ICAN on the Men’s Mega Mind Meet Up. We believe that this program will inject new and exciting leadership ideas into the community that will strengthen workplaces and facilitate growth,” said Todd Darnold, Ph.D., director of Leadership Programs.
The event is presented within a 7 x 7 x 7 concept: attendees will hear from 7 local leaders speaking for 7 minutes each on 7 different topics relevant to business leadership and our community they hold an informed and inspired position on. It is both educational and enlightening, with a goal to spark new thinking and dynamic conversation.
